Show and Tell- Moosh
Moosh is his nickname but he answers to both, his real name and his nick. His real name is Bell.o it was Bell.a until we later found she was in fact a he.
Moosh will be 12 years old come December and has been in my family since he was a few weeks old. He came from a litter belonging to one of my brothers cats.
I have had him since I lived at home but had to leave him behind since living in rentals that don't allow pets.
He is the coolest cat ever and has bought much joy to our family, he IS part of the family. Whenever we have family gathering he is amongst all the chaos of the big family, loving every minute of the company. He sits or lays around or is the queue for food at the BBQ. When I was at home my dad hated him or pretended to hate him, like he was always in the way. But now he adores him! And is always telling us the cheeky things he has done or how proud he is that he has caught a mouse or this or that etc. He feeds him and talks to him. We find really amusing to see how things have changed. I have often thought about taking him again but I really think my parents would be lost with out him, he has become their baby since all the children have left the nest. He is good company for them both. One of Moosh's siblings lives at a nursing home and keeps good company for the old people, so it must be in his genes.
Moosh has become a lot more talkative since he has grown older I am not sure why, maybe because my parents are around speaking to him all the time, more often than I ever had time to. And he is bilingual speaking Italian and English. When we go over he is always there to welcome us and when we leave he sees us to the gate. Very cute!
He has never been a cuddly cat which I found really annoying because I always wanted lap cat but he hates it, he is too cool for that! Although he does enjoy a good tummy rub and a brush down.
Max was never a cat person he loves dogs, but since meeting Moosh he has certainly changed his mind. He has special place in his heart. Look at that face , who wouldn't fall in love with him ?
Here he is Mr Cool Cat hanging out with his best buddy, my sisters dog. They are the same age and have grown up together. Moosh always loves a visit from his mate.

So cute!
I always like your photos, good perspective. Cute cat too.
I love it when animals have personality. Moosh sounds like quite a cat!

That's one cute cat!
Moosh looks so lovely. I'm a dog person, myself, but am partial to particular cats. Moosh looks like one I'd really like.
And although I didn't comment on your last post, I understood it perfectly. It's ok to be overwhelmed sometimes and it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with how you're coping or dealing with things. I think Heather's analogy was perfect, too - I can so relate to not only the junk room, but also the tumbleweeds. Hang in there, Vee.
LOL at your bilingual kitty! :)
Moosh looks very smart & clever. & LOVE that he also speaks Italian! so cute.
